I am the Founder / Principal Director & Professor of Criminology and Justice Sciences at the International Institute of Justice & Police Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and an Adjunct Faculty Member of the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute, Italy and the Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Criminology at Saveetha School of Law, Saveetha University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. I am ranked 16th among the Top 25 Influential Criminologists in the World during 2010-2020 by AcademicInfluence, USA. I am ranked Number 4 (Top 2%) among 273 Law and Legal Studies Scholars in India by the AD Scientific Index. I am the Founding Father of Cyber Criminology (2007), Cyber Victimology (2015) Therapeutic Criminology (2023) Theological Criminology (2023) & Political Victimology (2023) (academic sub-disciplines of Criminology/Victimology) and Space Transition Theory of Cyber Crimes.

"Cyber Criminology" and
I coined the term "Cyber Criminology" in 2007 and I
defined cyber criminology as “the study of causation
of crimes that occur in the cyberspace and its impact in
the physical space”.
I
also coined the term "Cyber Victimology" in 2015
and I defined cyber victimology as "the study of
forms of online victimization, its impact on victims,
and responses of society and systems.”
To
further the discipline, I have developed a theory for
cyber crimes and I call it "Space Transition
